Yolanda A. Hamilton, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 85.
Yolanda was married to the love of her life, Tom, for 65 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories. Tom preceded her in death last year, and now, Yolanda joins him once more in eternal rest.
She was the cherished mother of Veronika Childers (David), Kenny Hamilton (Stacy), and Glenn Hamilton, and a proud grandmother to Kris Childers, Brittani Childers, and Tyler Hamilton.
Yolanda worked for many years at Castle Air Force Base and was a devoted member of St. Anthony Church in Atwater for many years. Yolanda's faith was an integral part of her life and a source of strength for her and her family.
Yolanda never met a stranger and always enjoyed making new friends. She adored dancing and could often be found line dancing with friends or taking every opportunity to move to the music she loved, especially Elvis Presley. Her playful energy and warm personality made her a joy to be around. A lover of animals, Yolanda held a special place in her heart for her dogs, who were her loyal companions throughout her life.
We find peace in knowing that she is joyfully reunited with Tom, her one true love, where they will dance together forever.
