William Jason Reeves, a lifelong resident of Merced, California, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, at the age of 37.
Born on June 5, 1988, Jason was employed at Foster Farms for 20 years. He had a passion for sports, especially the NBA, LeBron James being one of his favorite athletes and loved watching wrestling. Jason’s humor, and generosity touched everyone who knew him, and he leaves behind many cherished memories.
He is survived by his loving mother, Cathy Jean Fowler; sisters, Ragan Grasso and Brigitte Reeves; and brothers Vincent Fowler, Carlos Madrigal and Junior Madrigal. In addition to his nieces and nephews: Britney Reeves, Shareef Grasso, and Angelique Eldridge.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, William David Reeves, his maternal grandparents Otis Fowler and Madeleine Fowler. and parental grandparents Benny Lee Reeves and Gladys V Stiffler.
Jason was a loving and devoted son, always there for his mom, offering love, support, and companionship throughout her life. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A private viewing will be held in Merced at Wilson funeral home to honor Jason’s life. Friends and family are invited to share memories and celebrate the joy he brought into their lives.
