Terry Lynn Wiedeman, Age 68, was called home to be with the lord on the early morning of Sunday October 13th, 2024. She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home after fighting long and hard for her many health issues over the years.
Terry was born May 12th, 1956, in Seattle, Washington, to parents Arlene and Robert Shirley. She was the second child in a family of four siblings. She had Three Daughters. Carissa, Tina and Cassandra. She was a beloved daughter, mother, life partner, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Terry exemplified compassion, kindness and concern for others, always extending a helping hand to those in need with a giving heart. The door to her home was always open. She endured many hardships in life. Battles lost and won but with her faith in God she overcame every obstacle with a resilient heart. She was known to be a social butterfly and loved striking up conversations with strangers everywhere she went. Everyone she came across she treated as a dear friend. She had a fun-loving personality, was easy-going and enjoyed the little things in life. She was always there to be a listening ear, give her advice and reassure you that every little thing was going to be alright. She was a big animal lover and loved keeping the bellies of stray animals full. She also loved everything fashion related and liked to stay up to date with new trends. Terry loved having big hair and always made sure to have her makeup done. She enjoyed shopping, especially for clothing and shoes. Although she always tried to maintain a healthy diet, she loved her a good, sweet treat. She also enjoyed watching old western shows, QVC shopping channels and sermons.
Before falling sick, she enjoyed her time out in the “country” as she would say with her partner Tony. They made memories together she greatly cherished and were some of the best times of her life.
Above all, she loved her lord and Savior Jesus Christ and enjoyed spreading god's word. She found rest in prayer; despite any life challenges she trusted in the lord. Through him, he was her comfort and strength. She would encourage you to start a relationship with Jesus today. Despite her illness, she was always willing to be there for others in their time of need when she needed it most. Through the hard times, with a grateful heart, she continued to find a way to smile. Even in her last days.
Terry was a strong-willed woman and a fighter in all aspects of her life. She fought hard to stay until the very end. God knew she was tired and is now walking the streets of gold. Her family finds comfort in that her physical body is free from pain and suffering. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived. May her beautiful soul be free at last in eternal peace.
She will be forever missed and loved beyond words by all those who knew her. Her physical absence here on earth has created a void in our hearts that cannot be filled. We will hold onto the cherished memories of her happy and healthy always in our hearts. As she continues to worship Jesus up there, may she guide us in spirit.
Terry now rests in the arms of the Lord, reunited with her beloved brother Thomas and Father Robert Shirley. As well as her many beloved Pets, resting forever in the eternal embrace of heaven.
I will miss you for all the rest of the days of my life. You will live on through the love you’ve instilled in me. Guide me in all my life’s biggest events. I will celebrate you always. One sweet day, we will be together again grandma. My soul will long for the day. Until then wait for me. I love you, Cassandra.
