Simona - De Los Santos

Simona De Los Santos February 18, 1933 – August 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Simona De Los Santos, who went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born on February 18, 1933, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico and later made Merced, California her home.

Simona was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around family and love. She was blessed with 15 children and is survived by 11 of them, along with many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Though she has gone to her eternal rest, the legacy she leaves behind will live on for generations.

Her life was a testament to perseverance and unconditional love. Whether it was through her words of wisdom, her comforting presence, or her endless prayers for her family, Simona’s influence will continue to guide those she loved.

Family and friends are invited to honor her memory at the funeral viewing on Monday, August 19, 2025, from 4pm-7pm at Wilson’s Family Funeral Chapel, 525 W. 20th Street, Merced, CA. The rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 562 W. 13th Street, Merced, CA. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Merced, CA.
