Ruby “Charlene” Harding Kirk, age 92, passed from this life, but not from our hearts, on Jan 2, 2026, at a Nursing home in Walnut Creek, CA surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Hargill TX and raised in the Central Valley in California. Charlene graduated from Livingston High School at the age of 15 and then worked her way through business school. After business school, she worked all her life in secretarial positions, the last being at Snider Lumber Company in Turlock for over 20 years until retirement.
Charlene loved to travel, she loved RVing with her late husband Glenn Kirk. They were founding members of the Out’O Bounders RV club in Turlock. Her grandkids were the light of her life, and they always brought out the best/softer side of her. Charlene loved landscaping her yard and had a green thumb. She loved to cook & bake and passed on that love to some of her grandkids. Charlene was a force of nature when it came to family; she always hosted family get-togethers for immediate and extended family and always organized family reunions to keep the extended family connected. She was also a very active board member of the Moose Lodge in Turlock, CA for several years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael (Chloe) Mazuroski; her grandson David (Laurra) Mazuroski; her parents Alee and Maggie Harding; her brother Ruben (Lana) Harding; and her husband Glenn Kirk. She is survived by her children Sandra Bleau (Gary Stanton), John (Lisa) Adams, and Mindy (Dennis) Barber; her grandchildren David (Shannon) Bleau, Dennis (Lina) Barber, Casey (Jake) Thompson, Emily (Nathan) Starr, John Adams Jr, and Michael (Nicole) Mazuroski; great grandchildren Hailey (Billy) Goodwin, Skylar Bleau, Zachary Bleau, Paislee Mazuroski, Skyler Howe and siblings Jane Whisennand, Wiley (Carmen) Harding, and Clara Hughes.
