Robert "Bob" Mello Borba

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of 79-year-old ~ Robert M. Borba. Bob passed away in the comfort of his home in El Nido, CA, surrounded by his family: entering into the gates of heaven on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Bob was born and raised in the Merced area & spent 47 years working in Agriculture, as a mechanic, salesman and farmer.  In the 1960’s, he started his career as a mechanic at N&S Tractor, then went on to become a tractor salesman for Merced International Tractor. When it came to ag equipment: he could sell it, run it and/or repair it! Above all he was a kind and generous man, who would do anything - for anyone and he will be deeply missed. 

He is survived by his wife of 57-years Leola "Lee" Borba, their two sons: Bobby (Chrys) Borba and Michael (Monica) Borba, all from El Nido, CA. As well as five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
