Robert Bayne Salas

Robert B. Salas -79 of Merced, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, October 7th. He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, and moved to California with his parents when he was a child.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Della Salas and their children Stacy Salas and Sherril Mattson. He was a dedicated father-in-law to Kim Mattson and a proud grandfather to Malcom and Margot Mattson. Bob also had a special bond with his Aunt Emily Jones, sister-in-law Pat Flammer, and sister's and brother-in-law's Betty and Tom Silsby and Cindy and George Snodgrass. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Glady Salas, as well as his two beloved pets, Missy and Sissy, who brought him joy and companionship throughout the years.  

In honoring Roberts final wishes, there will not be any public services. However, his family will have a small and private gathering at a later date to celebrate his life. 

Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
