Richard “Bear” Morales, 57, passed away on May 16, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on November 4, 1968, Richard lived a life full of hard work, laughter, loyalty, and love for the people around him.

Richard was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his father, Jose Morales; his children, Rebecca Morales, Richard Morales Jr., and Abrianna Raine; and his beloved grandchildren, Neveah, Xavier, Zion, Sophia, Jasmine, Julianna, and Isabel. He is also survived by his siblings George, Bella, Rene, and Jesse.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margarita Morales, and his brother, Johnny Morales.

Richard spent many years working in construction and maintenance, taking pride in providing for his family through honest hard work. Outside of work, he loved watching Raiders games, sharing a beer with family and friends, and spending time with the people he cared about most.

Bear will be remembered for his humor, his larger-than-life presence, and the way he could make anyone feel comfortable the moment they met him. He was easy to talk to, quick with a joke, and could light up every room he walked into. His strength, heart, and unforgettable personality left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
