Patricia Ann Maya

Patricia Ann Maya, 69 of Merced, California, changed addresses and went on to Glory on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Pat came from a big family of 14 siblings and many nieces and nephews. Pat was preceded by her father and mother Raymond and Carmen Mora and her (4) brothers Bobby Mora, Louie Martinez, Ray Mora, Baby Ray Mora, and her (3) sisters Mona Pacheco, Bambie Quiroz, and Susie Mattos. 

She is survived by her 3 Girls Monica Maldonado (JJ), Leslie Bautista (Chuey), and Vanessa Doss (Evan). She was a Nonnie of 7 grandchildren; BriAnna Maldonado, Brandon Maldonado, Fayth Bautista, Braylon Maldonado, AJ Bautista, Rudy Mendoza, and Justin Doss, all living in the Merced area. Pat's living siblings; are Terry Gracia, Sylvia Hernandez, Mike Mora, George Mora, Steve Mora, Mickie Arauza, and Richard Mora. She loved her (3) Godchildren; Grace Santos, Melody Lynch, and Stephanie Lyon. 

Pat started working for Ragu Foods in 1973 as a Forklift Operator and ended her career as a Supervisor until she retired in 2005. She then became a Nana on wheels. She loved to entertain people, shop, cook up big meals, serve in her local church, dance, travel, go camping and most of all be a Nana to her grandchildren. She was a Nana to many, by expressing her unconditional love and care towards them.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel 1290 N. Winton Way, Atwater at 10 am followed by a Celebration of Life at Italo American Lodge 1351 W. 18th Street, Merced.
