Melinda Monrinee Thornton

Melinda Thornton was born in N.E. Thailand in 1968. She arrived in the United States, Kansas, in 1977. Her family was transferred to England in December 1977. She lived in a traditional English country village, Cransford, of about 80 people for the next year. Her family again was transferred to just north of the Madrid city line in Spain from December 1978 to July of 1982. She returned to the States August 1982, where she graduated from Atwater High School in 1987. During high school, Melinda played on the school tennis, basketball, and softball teams. She worked in various pizza places and KFC after graduation before starting at Foster Farms. ... She bore two children in the 1990s, Jacob and Brooke Buchanan. She worked her way up the ladder at Foster Farms Poultry Processing Plant by applying for internal job postings, eventually running the "Live Line" on midnight shift, where the chickens were delivered. A memorial Service will be held on October 2nd, 2024, beginning at 12:00 pm.
