On July 11, 2024, Larry received his call to walk amongst the angels and be reunited with his beloved son Brian. As they celebrated Brian’s birthday together this year, Larry leaves his time on earth with a life full of love, passion, and dedication to his family and hard work. Larry is preceded in death by his Son Brian Friesen, Parent’s Cornelius & Ruth Friesen, and Sister Saundra Friesen Strube. Larry was born in Merced, California on April 1,1941, to Cornelius & Ruth (Murphy) Friesen. Larry is one of 5 children and was raised in Winton California. Larry attended Winton Schools and went on to Livingston High School. Following High School he went straight out into the working world to start his career as a Licensed Truck Driver. After Driving for Davis Cannery for many years he decided he wanted to go out on his own and become a farmer and an independent owner-operator Truck Driver. Larry’s work ethic was second to none, as he dedicated himself tirelessly to farming, spending countless hours on his beloved tractor, ensuring his land was well-tended and productive. His commitment to his work extended beyond farming, as he took pride in his role as a truck driver, where his reliability and professionalism were well respected. Larry was also passionate about Traveling the countryside with his wife Judie in their RV. His love for NASCAR took them to many Race events along with visiting local Dirt tracks. Larry’s absolute favorite place to be was with his family sitting alongside a Bonfire and telling endless stories. Some told many times! His dedication to his Family, Work, and Pastimes showcased a life of unwavering commitment and joy in everything he did. Larry is Survived by his wife Judie Friesen, his daughter Stephanie Keys (Mark), Step-Sons Butch Dulaney (Jolean), and Eddie Dulaney, Brothers Jack Friesen, and Carter Friesen, Sister Tedra Friesen Baker, mother of his Children Sharon Friesen, 6 Grandchildren, Tim, Gage, Bryce, Cole, Laycee, Shannon and 3 great-grandchildren and a Baby Boy on the way. On Monday, July 29, 2024, at 3:00 pm Celebration of Life will be held at Isabellas Restaurant in Atwater.
