Karolyn Lee Alvarez

Karolyn Lee Alvarez passed away the morning of June 20, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois. She lived in Atwater since 1978. 

She was known for her smile, laugh, and unconditional love for her family and friends.

Karol is survived by her son and daughter - in-law Tony and Kim Alvarez, and her beloved grandson Tyler, from Fresno. She is also survived by many relatives throughout the central valley and the country, and her beloved sheepdog Lily. Karol was preceded in death by her mother Clara Brudnicki Sewell, her father Dr. Frank Lesko, her brother Frank Lesko Jr., and the love of her life Bob Alvarez:

Karol was a devout Catholic at St Anthony's Church. She was a charitable person donating her time to the church, political clubs, and CASA. She was an avid reader and loved her card games with friends. She cherished her time spent with her grandson going bowling, watching. movies, and going on many adventures together. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday July 12, 2024, at 11:00am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. A reception for Karol will follow at her home.
