Karen Lee Debolt, 76, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Merced, CA. Born on January 21, 1948, Karen dedicated over 38 years to service work carrying the message of recovery. She was known for her courageous and selfless nature, her unconditional and never ending love. Karen's professional life was spent as an accountant and bookkeeper for the Winton Water and Sanitary District. She held an educational background from CSU Stanislaus which supported her in her career. In her personal life, Karen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Linna Hunt (Gary) and Christine Porter; son, Kenneth Roberts (Bobbi); grandchildren, Cassandra Yeager, Samantha Linn (Charles), Dayna Hunt, Princella Worthington, Brandon Porter, Stephanie Martinez (Nick), Corey Silva (Sabrina), Kodie Silva (Whitney),Stephan Satterlee, Amanda Coyne, and Ben Coyne; along with numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayland T. Davis; mother, Roberta Jones; spouse, Dale Debolt; and son, James Debolt. Karen found joy in diamond art, assembling puzzles with her grandchildren, enjoying movie dates, watching NASCAR races and spending time with her beloved cat, Bobbi Sue. These hobbies provided her with much happiness and relaxation. A service to honor Karen’s life will be held at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, located at 1290 Winton Way, Atwater, CA, 95301. Friday November 01,2024 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in her memory. Karen's legacy of love, compassion, and community service will forever be cherished by those who knew her
