Joseph Pimentel Henriques

Joe Henriques age 70, was born to parents Daniel and Belmira Henriques on October 29th, 1953 in Flores, Azores. He passed away peacefully on January 4th, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his daughters Jillian Henriques, Jenna Nunes, Son-in-law Clifford Nunes and two grandchildren, Raegan and Landon Nunes. Joe was predeceased by his parents and his beloved wife, Susie Henriques of 35 years.

Joe worked at Farmers Insurance for over 30 years and spent the last 15 years of his life dedicating himself to his family.  Joe had held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being a Dad and a “Papa Joe”.  He loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren.  He was always there for them whether he was helping them garden, building new projects or cheering them on at sports and dance events. Joe was immensely proud of his family and leaves behind beautiful memories. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. His life lessons and stories will remain in our hearts forever.

A viewing and rosary will be held on January 18th from 4-7pm at Wilsons Family Funeral Chapel 1290 Winton Way Atwater, CA. The funeral mass will be held on January 19th at 10am at St. Anthony Catholic Church 1799 Winton Way Atwater CA. The burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery 7651 W Almond Ave Winton, CA. A reception will be held immediately after at St. Anthony’s Hall 1801 Winton Way, Atwater CA.
