James Warren Rentfrow

James Warren Rentfrow was born on January 14th, 1943, to George and Marjorie Edwards Rentfrow in Antioch, CA. He grew up in San Jose, CA and eventually moved to Santa Cruz, where he graduated from high school and married Sandra Lowe Rentfrow on Valentine's Day in 1965. They had been married for 58 years. In Santa Cruz, Jim and Sandy had two children: James Christopher Rentfrow and Stacy Michelle Rentfrow. Jim worked for PG&E and moved the family to Atwater, CA in 1978. 

Jim and Sandy were members of New Life Community Church, where Jim had served on the board. He was a devoted Christian and read his Bible daily. 

Jim was outgoing and a kind and caring friend to all who knew him. He would do anything he could to help a friend.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children Chris and wife Kathy, and their children, Melissa, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Jeffrey, and Michael, of Annapolis, MD; Stacy Matenkosky and her husband Mike, and their children, Hannah and Sarah, of Atwater, CA.

Funeral Services will be at 2:30pm on November 14th, 2023, at New Life Community Church, 2124 1st Street, Atwater, with a private burial the following day at Winton Cemetery.
