Gene Mario Frugoli

Gene Mario Frugoli born in San Francisco Ca., passed away peacefully Sunday July 27 in Atwater Ca at the age of 97.

A Loving husband for over 60 years to Mary Ann (deceased) and father to Stephen (deceased). Gene served in the army before becoming a postal carrier in San Francisco until he retired.

Gene loved people and touched the hearts of anyone he came into contact with. He had a strong connection with the Catholic Church and unwavering faith in God.

Gene cherished his music, and as a standup comedian, he loved to make people laugh. An avid bowler, he was always proud to talk about his perfect 300 game.

Gene had a passion for animals. Although he loved all kinds from birds to horses, his favorites were cats. He would never let a stray kitty go hungry, always toting around extra cat food in the trunk of his car and feeding any strays he came across.

Gene was a people’s person and will be missed by all that he came

into contact with.

Gene is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly but will forever cherish the memories made with him.

Services will be held at 12:30pm, Friday September 26, 2025
