Eddie Knox

Eddie Knox, 70 went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2025, while residing in Merced, California.

Eddie Knox was born on December 14, 1954, in Dos Palos, California to Rosevelt Knox and Lizzie Austin. He graduated from Dos Palos High School in 1973.  He was later employed by the Door Factory, The cotton Gin and De Francesco & Sons INC.

Eddie accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a young age under the leadership of Reverend Odise Manning, at The Church of God in Christ, in Dos Palos, California.

He enjoyed playing basketball, bike riding and the Dallas Cowboys was his favorite football team. Most of all he enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. 

Eddie was a loving father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Harvey Hall; brother, Earl Moore; brother, Delford Moore; and sister Albertine Ingram.  Those who remain and cherish his memory are his two daughters, Wanda Powell (Loniol) Merced, CA.  Jania Knox, Dos Palos, CA.  Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
