Deborah Kay Garcia, 69 of La Grange CA, passed away in Merced after a short battle with lung cancer.
Deborah was born and raised in Merced, attending area schools, later graduating from Merced High. Prior to moving to La Grange 2 years ago, she spent most of her life living and working in the Merced area. She worked 10+ years as a front desk clerk for a local hotel.
She enjoyed being outdoors and loved to collect unique teapots. But above all, she loved her family. She enjoyed gathering with her family and looked forward to gathering and cooking for the holidays. She loved wholeheartedly and unconditionally, and she will be missed tremendously by those who knew and loved her.
Deborah is survived by her children: daughter April Garcia, and two sons Paul Garcia and Joshua Puckett, husband Tom Garcia, and brother Rick Puckett. As well as six grandchildren, Julian Randhawa, Alyssa Ramirez, Isaiah Ramirez, Jacob Puckett, Luke Puckett and James Puckett; and two great-grandchildren Julian Randhawa Jr., and Andres Randhawa.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date. Should you wish to attend, please reach out to a member of her immediate family for details.
