David Michael Aubertin

Our loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather left to be with his Lord on Friday November 29th 2024. Born January 23rd 1950 in Stockton, California to Eleanor Lassle. David passed away peacefully after suffering many years with congestive heart failure. David is a “Jack of all Trades” and of course he was a master of all of them! Cook, Chef, Entrepreneur, Retailer, (Gunshow vender), House Painter, Enrolled Agent, Tax Prepare for H&R Block, and while doing all that, he was a 7th grade science and computer teacher at Weaver School for 32 years, and a lover of, God, Church, and Family. David started life with his Mother Eleanor Lassle moving from place to place across the state and attended many schools until they settled in Larkspur/ Greenbrae in Marin County, California. He went to and graduated Redwood High School. There he met the love of his life and wife, Kathy Perry. They were married in 1969 and went on the have a long and joyous marriage of 55 years. David and Kathy were blessed with a son, Andrew (Kacie), and 2 outstanding, athletic, intelligent grandsons, Brixton and Killian. They enjoyed life with their family and many cousins and friends made through work and play!

David will be laid to rest beside his Mother, Eleanor, at Winton Cemetery on December 14th 2024, following an Orthodox Christian Funeral Service to be held Saturday December 14th 2024, 10AM at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church, 1635 Shafer Rd. Atwater, California. A Panikhida and viewing will be held Friday, December 13th 2024, 6PM at St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church in Atwater. A reception will follow the burial at the Parish Hall, St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church, Atwater.
