Carolyn "Sally" Sue Willson

Carolyn S. Willson, “Sally”, passed away November 26, 2025, at the age of 91. Sally grew up in Merced, attending Merced High as well as San Jose State.  After school she married Jack R. Willson, “Dick” in 1955.  Sally and Dick were stationed in England for three years.  Upon returning Sally and Dick lived in Atwater for 63 years.  Sally was a school librarian in Atwater serving many students sharing her love of literature.  She held a deep commitment to family, people and gardening.  Sally’s joyful spirit could always light up a room.  She is preceded in death by Dick her husband of 68 years.  She is survived by her son John R. Willson, daughter Kathryn A. Enos and son James Michael Willson; her sisters Joan C. Jarrett and Sandra Monier; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will have a private gathering at a later date per Sally’s request.
