Camilla ("Cam") Passadori passed peacefully in her home on May 23, 2016 at the age of 87. She was born on November 20, 1928 in Steele, Missouri to her parents, Alfred and Bessie Key. Cam moved to San Jose, California at the age of 8 and attended local schools through high school and college. She graduated from San Jose State University and went to work for United Airlines as a stewardess, having flown on the DC-3 aircraft on domestic flights throughout the U.S.
She met her husband, Jerry Passadori, while he attended Santa Clara University and she worked for the airlines. They married in 1953 and moved to Fort Sill, Oklahoma where Jerry was stationed with the Army. Eventually they returned to Jerry's hometown of Atwater, California and had 3 sons, Jim, Steve and Richard.
Cam was a devoted homemaker, mother and wife. She reveled in spending time in her garden and backyard, cooking and entertaining for the family, attending family reunions, playing bridge with her girlfriends, fishing, visiting her girlfriends in the Bay Area and Monterey area, and traveling with family and friends. She was also an avid reader and crossword puzzle solver.
Cam is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, parents, her brother and sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Jim and wife, Debi, Steve and wife, Lilly, Richard, and Jim's children, Ryan and Diana.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cam's caretakers, Arlene Turner, Debbie Potts, Bonnie Cohen, Yvonne Jones, and Courtney of Lamerson Landy Care. Their warm and loving care of Cam will never be forgotten.
Funeral services will be privately held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements Entrusted To Wilson Family Funeral Chapel.
