Bobby Ray Redding - 76, of Atwater passed away at Fresno Community Regional Medical Center on Monday, February 10th, succumbing to complications of an accident that accord weeks prior.
Bobby was born in Dos Palos, California October 13, 1948, and spent a number of years living in Firebaugh, CA., and has lived in Merced County for nearly 50 years. Bobby was proud to have served his country as a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War, following his return from overseas, he would go on to work for the California Highway Patrol as dispatcher for 30 years. Above all, he was a kind man, always willing to lend a hand to those in need and loved his family.
Bobby is survived by his son, Michael Redding, his beloved grandchildren, and dear friend Marylee Griffin, along with many others.
Bobby will be interred privately at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
