Beverley Gene Wilson Hayes age 73, passed away at Mercy Medical Center on Saturday, June 15th., Residing in Merced just over 15 years, she was a native of Stockton, CA. Beverley was born one of 9 children; to Leslie Elnora and Clarence Wilson Sr in French Camp, CA.
By the age of 7, she could cook full meals and it paid off, as she was a great cook. Affectionately known as Miss Beverley by friends and extended family in her community and around the world. Miss Beverley moved to Riverbank in 2002 and then to Merced in 2009 and married her best friend and love of her life William Ray Hayes (who proceeded her in death). Miss Beverley graduated from Edison Highschool and advanced her education to a Master's Degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University; she was also a certified Advanced Trainer of Trainers in the 3 Principles Health Realization Model. Miss Beverley has worked in communities across the US and abroad since 1988. Miss Beverley has worked for San Joaquin and Santa Clara Counties and has a curriculum vitae of various colleges, police departments, correctional facilities, youth enrichment programs, and recovery programs. She has served as faculty for a national foundation and held workshops and seminars for every walk of life including World Leadership forums in British Colombia, and the UK. She has also participated in conferences speaking in London. Miss Beverley founded Silent Retreats Inc and also CO Founded and is CEO of Conduits Do It Consulting, a family business promoting health and wellness, with a world vision to heal one heart at a time.
Miss Beverley always said she searched the whole world and could not find no one greater than her Father God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit. Her BIG Faith and religious convictions were passed down through the generations, even unto her 6 great grandchildren.
Miss Beverley is proceeded in death by her sons, Robert Earl Jones II, Clifford Wilson, grandson, Robert Earl Jones III, her siblings, Elizabeth (To-To), Shirlene, Eddie and Freddie.
She is survived by her children Tonya Jeanell Jones, of Los Angeles, Monique Deatrice Williams (Tyrone Sr.), Mary Konisha Jones, Clyde Wilson Jr of Merced Ca. Janique (Richard Sr), Tyrone Jr (Kaelyn), Dasani, Tyla, Malachi, Romeo, Tynique, Ari and Jossey. Siblings, Clarence Jr (Brenda), Elaine (husband) and Geanna. God Sisters, Marcella (Tom), Linda, Trish, Juegirl, and Helene. Miss Beverley had a host of extended children she called her own, and she loved them all the same. Miss Beverley will be missed dearly by her family, friends, loved ones, and colleagues.
There will be a time for viewing and visitation on Wednesday, June 26th at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel of Merced from 1:00pm - 4:00pm
The funeral service is scheduled for 10am Thursday, June 27th, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church located at 559 Broadway Ave in Atwater, Ca.
A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
There will be a time for viewing and visitation on Wednesday, June 26th at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel of Merced from 1:00pm - 4:00pm
