Angelica – 30 of Merced, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She was the firstborn to Carolina Venegas & Ismael Ramirez, eldest sister to five, and cherished by so many. Angelica was born and raised in Merced. After graduating from Livingston High School, she moved south, living in Fresno and Visalia for some time, searching for purpose, before living her final years back in her birthplace, Merced, CA.
Angelica was an enormously talented soul filled to the brim with a passion for art. She spent immeasurable amounts of time and effort to fine tune her natural ability for music and illustration, even publishing her songs on Spotify and Apple Music under her artist name “Ang”. She loved writing and listening to music that she could express herself with and get lost in. Though she struggled mentally, she never turned down an opportunity to celebrate life and the beliefs she held dear. Whether it was attending Pride, spending time with friends old and new, or taking road trips to wherever her heart desired. She was determined to make the most of her short time here on Earth.
Of all the things Angelica loved the most; she had unwavering and unconditional love for her family and caring for her biscuit-making kitty, Paco.
Angelica is survived by her parents Ismael Ramirez of Livingston, CA & Carolina Venegas of Oxnard, CA; and siblings Julian Randhawa, Alyssa Ramirez & Isaiah Ramirez all of Livingston, Jazlyn Ramirez of Sunnyvale and Maddison Chacon of Oxnard.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Angelica ask that you make time to remind those you care for, that you love them.
Due to a prior engagement, the deacon will likely begin at 11am, followed by the recitation of the rosary. There will be time for friends and loved ones to share memories to honor and celebrate the life she lived
