Allen Jantz

In Loving Memory of Allen W. Jantz October 20, 1944 – January 22, 2026 Allen W. Jantz passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 81, surrounded by family. Born on October 20, 1944, to Melvin and Josie Jantz of Ballico, CA, Allen lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and devotion to his family. A faithful member and pastor of the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Allen was also a respected electrical contractor by trade, having wired many subdivisions throughout Merced County. Even in retirement, he remained active, assisting his son with deliveries for Jantz Café and Bakery from Atwater to Mariposa until his passing. Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Margaret; his children, Mark, Diane and Steve, Gary and Clara, Larry and Sheila, Sheldon and Andrea, Andrew and Jenny, and Charles and Paula; as well as 31 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
